Our view

“Bed of Roses” is a light, sweet romance from Nora Roberts, the second of “The Bride Quartet”, centred on the florist Emma Grant. Emma and her closest friends run a wedding business together, and their friendship gives the book much of its warmth. Some readers find it better than the first volume and warm to the easy chemistry between Emma and Jack, even if parts of it strike them as a little too sugary.
