Our view

“A Briefer History of Time” is compact, informative popular science: the universe explained in under two hundred pages. Some readers find Stephen Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow’s book much the same as “A Brief History of Time” and feel the added colour illustrations contribute little, so they would keep to the original. Anyone new to the subject and short of time can start here.
