Best Australian authors

Australian authors ranked by the scores readers give their books. Australia is a quiet powerhouse of storytelling for young readers and fantasy fans alike: John Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice, Garth Nix's Old Kingdom and Markus Zusak's The Book Thief all started here. This ranking orders Australian writers by readers' ratings of their books, so the country's top-rated names are easy to find.

Ranked by each author’s score — the average of their books’ reader ratings on BookRank. Citizenship data: Wikidata.
