Editor’s note Atmospheric young adult fantasy. The Raven Boys begins the Raven Cycle: Blue, from a family of psychics, has been told she will kill her true love with a kiss, and falls in with four boys from a private school who are searching for a sleeping Welsh king buried in the Virginia hills. It is her best rated book and the place to start. Shiver, a werewolf romance, rates much lower.
