Brandon Mull

Brandon Mull — 6 titles in the rankings, first published between 2007 and 2012. They average 8.0, above the 7.8 the whole catalogue averages. 2 of the series have a reading order worth keeping to.

Editor’s note American writer of middle-grade fantasy. Fablehaven follows siblings Kendra and Seth, who discover that their grandparents’ estate is a secret sanctuary for magical creatures; the first book is the most read and the lowest rated, and the series grows steadily, with the later books his best. Beyonders, in which a boy falls through a hippopotamus at the zoo into another world, is equally well liked. Read each series in order.
