“This is a short novel. A mother of the bride - a typical Anne Tyler protagonist: full of doubt but not insecure - rethinks her own marriage and divorce. She is prompted by the unexpected arrival of her ex (plus cat) as a house guest. Laugh out loud funny at times. Warm.”
