“It would be a terrible lie if I said that I did not expect it to be a 5 star. This book, this whole series is worth the hype. In this book, we got to see more adventures than the first one. In my opinion though I rated 4.75 for the first book, it was mainly the wonderful pace and the characters and not much of the story. It mainly was focusing on the world building and the plot only started when you are three fourth into the book. But of course, it is fantasy and it is the way the first book should be. But the second book, THIS, was amazing! My whole book is smeared with highlighters and even …”
“I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first, the finale felt a lot more complex than the first book and left me with so many questions In the first book I wasn't the biggest fan of jude and cardan, but here it felt a lot more real and believable I just like betrayal and political intrigue and power plays I guess ”
