“It mostly kept the level of entertainment and fun of the first book, but I think I enjoyed the first one more compared to this and the ending was lacking a twist of some kind to me like we had in book one (granted, the twist in the first one wasn't the most consequential, but still, I missed that omg moment from the end of book one in book two). The tone and the main character remained the same, which I enjoyed, and despite the fact that the whole point of the character /was/ her tone and video game-esque nature, she still had a nice little character progression which I appreciated, I really …”
