  “Unfortunately didn't love :( had basically none of the things I liked about the first book (a look into planetary colonisation, what identity means when you're a double), and doubled-down on all the things I didn't like (everyone being written with a very similar sarcastic voice, everyone saying 'oh hell no' every 5 minutes, Marshall's moral compass making no sense, Mickey not caring much about the Creepers despite the fact that they are objectively very interesting).   “This is a very different story compared to Mickey7 with some better aspects and some worse aspects. Firstly, other than Mickey, a lot of the characters were very annoying. Cat, who I really liked in Mickey7, was just whining a lot of the time and didn't add anything to the story. The same goes for Lucas and Jamie but to a worse degree. Berto was alright and Nasha was also a little annoying at times. Some characters' decisions also came out of nowhere with no real reasoning, and some people just made idiotic choices.
