“Such a disappointing read. For someone that claims to care as much about “data gaps” as she does, the massive gap in this book for people that are trans, gender fluid or non-binary is astonishing. Not to mention the very limited discussion of non-white races (only saw 2 mentions of black women in the entire book). “First of all, this book needs some trigger warnings, so be warned, there is a lot of talk about SA, and in chapter 2 it's quite graphic. The book is amazing, I learned so many new things. Am I infuriated as fuck? Of course, but it is a fantastic book that I think every person on this earth should read. I don't think it would get through to men's heads, so at least all the women should read it. All of it infuriated me, but the chapter about doctors hit so close to home.
